7 Simple Everyday Ways to Improve Your Skin
Learn More about CALECIM® Products

It’s easy to focus on the aesthetics of the skin because it plays such an important role in our appearance. But the skin is also a vital defense to our inner organs and tissue, protecting it from pollution, bacteria, viruses, and other harmful constituents.

At CALECIM® Professional, we urge you to take care of your skin to strengthen its health and improve its aesthetics. It’s important to note that improving your skin doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive beyond what your budget already allows.

So, here are 7 simple, everyday ways that anyone can do to improve and rejuvenate your skin.

  1. Exercise

Working up a good sweat 3-5 times a week does wonders for your skin. Increased blood flow opens and unclogs pores while feeding your skin with oxygen and vital nutrients. This helps boost skin cell metabolism, resulting in better skin elasticity (similar to how working out helps your body’s overall metabolism burn fat).

Some of our favorite ways to work up a sweat here at CALECIM® Professional include yoga, spinning, biking, and running.

  1.  Keep Your Skin Clean

A great follow-up to exercise, of course, but the point is to use mild cleansers and soft cloths. Gently scrub off dirt, debris, dry skin cells, etc., that clog pores. Avoid hot water; instead, go with soothing warm water.

  1.    Hydrate

Drink 8-10 cups (2-2.5 liters) of water per day to flush out impurities and keep all of your body’s systems working well. Staying hydrated improves your overall health and helps your skin stay radiant and clear.

At CALECIM®, we like to add lemon to our water for enhanced skin benefits. Because the citrus fruit has large amounts of Vitamin C, lemon water aids your skin in maintaining its rate of collagen production, which can reduce the appearance of wrinkles, according to The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.

  1.    Eat and Drink Well

A variety of foods and beverages are ideal for feeding the skin well. If you don’t already incorporate the following into your normal diet, you should consider it for the health of your skin:

  • Green tea contains catechins, which are antioxidants found to help protect against inflammation and soothe red or blotchy skin
  • Mangos help stimulate collagen growth for softer, more pliable skin
  • Dark chocolate is rich in antioxidants that have been found to improve skin moisture and thickness for a younger-looking appearance
  • Salmon has Omega-3 fatty acids that have been shown to decrease inflammation and could reduce the risk of skin conditions like acne or psoriasis

  1. Sleep

Sleep regenerates the body and makes it stronger by rebalancing its hydration. In turn, your skin is better able to replenish and heal itself. This helps your body maintain its levels of hyaluronic acid, a natural moisturizing substance in the body that helps reduce the signs of premature aging, such as wrinkles and volume loss.

  1.    Manage Stress

Stress increases hormones like cortisol, which weaken the skin against bacteria and acne as well as make it oilier, itchier, and rougher. Reducing your stress will decrease this hormone and help promote better, more efficient skin healing and renewal.

At CALECIM® Professional, we like to meditate, do yoga, exercise, and sleep to limit stress.

  1.    Avoid Prolonged Sun Exposure

You probably already know this one, our point is to alert you of this risk while inside your home, office, or car. Make sure that you avoid the sun’s direct rays, particularly on your face, which can cause wrinkles and sunspots as well as harm collagen and elastic tissue, which causes skin to lose its shape.

Combat sun exposure by wearing clothing that covers your arms, face, neck, and hands.

Add Some Daily Stem Cell Therapy to Your Skincare with CALECIM® Professional Skin

A final way to improve your skin is daily application of CALECIM® Professional skin creams. They are ideal for healthy skin renewal to help maintain your skin’s glow, smoothness, and firmness.

Each CALECIM® Professional restorative cream has a proprietary formula derived from stem cell proteins that have been extracted from umbilical cord lining. They are highly enriched with the following:

  • Skin-strengthening collagen
  • Collagen-enhancing fibronectin
  • Hydrating hyaluronic acid
  • Skin-firming albumin
  • Skin-regulating building blocks of proteins called peptides

Apply CALECIM® Professional Multi-Action Cream, CALECIM® Professional Restorative Hydration Cream, and CALECIM® Professional Serum twice a day every day to your forehead, nose, temples, cheeks, chin, neck, and around the mouth.

Within 2 weeks, you’ll notice better skin volume and resiliency, enhanced contouring, increased moisture, and reduced lines and wrinkles. Within 90 days of daily application, you’ll see optimal results.
