OUR STORY

Founded in 2002 with an aim to provide skin and scar cells around the world for research, we remain specialists in skin regeneration after the discovery of cord lining stem cells was made in 2004.

PIONEER IN STEM CELL SKIN REGENERATION SCIENCE

The scientific technology behind CALECIM® and PTT-6® belongs to its parent company CellResearch Corporation, a biotechnology company that discovered the presence of stem cells in the umbilical cord lining 20 years ago.

CALECIM® draws on its parent company’s patented stem cell knowledge currently being studied in clinical trials for the treatment of chronic wounds.

ONE SOURCE, TWO TYPES OF STEM CELLS

It has been found that the Cord Lining is the richest source of stem cells, from a non-embryonic source, with two types of stem cells found: epithelial and mesenchymal.

The combination of growth factors, proteins and exosomes derived from these two types of stem cells is able to trigger cellular reactions from all layers of the skin and scalp, from the dermis to the epidermis.
