Skin's Healing Capacity
Decreases with Age
Stem cell stimulation is responsible for repair and regeneration work in the body.
As we age, the numbers of stem cells in our body fall, accompanied by a decrease in their efficiency. This is why young children recover from wounds relatively quickly without scarring, while older people take longer to heal; scarring takes place as a result of imperfect healing.
Replenish Essential
“Messages”
The complex mix of proteins and cytokines secreted by Cord Lining Stem Cells works on damaged and aging skin by replenishing these essential cellular messages.
Aid in suppressing pro-inflammatory cytokines
Encourage skin cells to renew
Activate cells to migrate towards skin damage
Help build up skin’s structural layers
These signals initiate many cellular events which may translate to decreased skin sensitivity and irritation, improved skin density, and increased resilience.

Enhanced recovery and optimized treatment results with Professional Serum
Clinically Validated
by Patients
Our active ingredient, Rejuvenating Conditioned Media, is not just studied and vigorously tested in the lab.
Its results on real patients speak for themselves.

Why is the Professional Serum pink?
The Professional Serum uses a pH indicator to monitor the state of its active growth factors and proteins. Because of its high concentration of biologically-derived active ingredient, it is important that the conditions remain optimal for these active factors to thrive. While a range of colors reflects that the acidity level is acceptable - from light/dark pink to orange - you should not use the product if it turns yellow or becomes cloudy.
How to Use
When Used After Clinical Procedures:
- Apply to treatment area and press firmly into the skin with a gloved hand to ensure penetration. Use half to one full ampoule per treatment depending on area and degree of ablation.
- Continued usage at home is recommended. Number of days of post-treatment application should be advised by your physician.
When Used at Home as a Skin Booster:
- Ensure skin is clean and free of any oily residue. A mild skin exfoliation before application might improve absorption of the product.
- Use one pipette-full of Serum for the whole face. Apply a few drops on each facial zone and press into the skin. One ampoule holds approximately 10 pipettes of Serum.
- Can be used AM / PM. Apply your regular moisturizer / treatment creams such as Multi-Action Cream and / or Restorative Hydration Cream after.

More Questions
Which product do I choose to use post-procedure: Professional Serum or Recovery Night Complex?
Which product do I choose to use post-procedure: Professional Serum or Recovery Night Complex?
The Professional Serum is designed to be used after in-clinic procedures. It is light and easily absorbed into the skin with a pH that is designed to be gentle on sensitized skin.
The Recovery Night Complex can also be used on sensitized skin, but it is better applied at night because of its gel like texture that forms alight film over the skin to protect and hydrate it. This texture is also not conducive to the convenient application of sunblock or makeup which is why it is not recommended for use in the day.
As a night-time regimen on the day of the procedure, you can apply the Professional Serum followed by the Recovery Night Complex.
Why is the Professional Serum pink?
Why is the Professional Serum pink?
Professional Serum contains phenolsulfonphthalein (a pH indicator) which is reddish/dark pink. As each batch of protein mix may have slight differences in acidity or alkalinity, the color can range from light yellow/orange to light red/dark pink. This is within our acceptable range.
We use the pH indicator to monitor the state of the active ingredient. As it is derived from an organic source and is high in biological matter, it may be prone to bacteria contamination. The pH indicator uses the acidity level within the formula to assess the health of the active proteins and growth factors within.
It is recommended to keep CALECIM® Professional products in cool conditions, not exceeding 33°C or 91.4°F. Please discontinue usage of the product if the color appears to be different from the stated acceptable range and contact us at customerservice@calecim.com.
Why is there a smell to the Professional Serum?
Why is there a smell to the Professional Serum?
The Professional Serum is fragrance-free. The smell comes from the high concentration of active ingredient, mainly Cord Lining extract, in the formulation. The smell disappears soon after application and most users don’t notice it after a few minutes.
Why does my ampoule of Professional Serum look and smell different from the last one?
Why does my ampoule of Professional Serum look and smell different from the last one?
The extract derived from each batch of Cord Lining is slightly different. This results in slight differences in color and smell in the end product because of the high concentration of active ingredient used.

How do I incorporate CALECIM® Professional into my regimen with these other active ingredients?
CALECIM® Professional works well with most active ingredients commonly used in other skincare. Your skincare should be layered according to the viscosity of the product. Water-based products should be applied first (like toners, and watery serums), followed by gel-like textures. Light creams can be applied after, followed by heavier creams. For AM regimens, sunblock should be applied last.
